Well, to start off, how many car shows have you gone to that are serving fresh oysters on a half shell and free flowing champagne? Exactly.

As promised last year we made a valiant effort to attend this years' Monterey Car Week otherwise known as holy week to automobile enthusiasts. One of the premier events any first-timer has to attend is the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. This stage plays host to the most exquisite vehicles in the world. The crowd is seduced with polished chrome, perfect paint, untouched leather, and the spectacular views to Stillwater Cove.

It's not just the drivers that go through rigorous training to compete in racing. Here, Ferrari shows us how they train their pit crew and engineers to execute one of the fastest pit stops in Formula 1.

If you are anything like us, most weekend mornings are spent scrounging the web for interesting, cool, car related stuff to occupy those early hours of the day when it's still too early to throw a wrench on the classic but too late to waste away in bed. Alright, so what are you waiting for? Grab your favorite mug, pour yourself a cup of that gasoline brew you call coffee (go ahead we'll wait), and enjoy this full length version of 'Le Mans' featuring Steve McQueen. With 2014 right around the corner, we thought it would be appropriate to reflect back on a couple automobile visionaries whose contributions to design, performance and innovation continue to shape how we look at and enjoy cars today. Without them, we might be stuck driving around in shapeless hunks of metal, getting five miles to the gallon and pulling bugs out of our teeth. Enjoy, and have a wonderful new year!
