1973 Toyota Celica with S2000 power

A classic Japanese import with a modern drive train? Yes please! The owner of this highly modified golden street rocket knocks it out of the park with a thorough list of desirable tuning. Best of all is the F20c gem siting between the front wheels sending power to the back. Find it here on Craigslist in Modesto, CA for $18k.

We had the pleasure of owning an S2000 some years back and can testify to the engineering of these power plants. They make a terrific sound, rev fast, and had the highest horsepower per liter of any mass produced motor in the world when developed. The seller states the clutch and transmission are also from a Honda S2000 which is good news because heel-toe dancing through the turns was massively fun.

The 4-point roll bar, vintage Recaro seats will both provide protection should you get in trouble and keep your hips glued in place as you rotate around corners. The leather wrapped Nardi steering wheel and white gauges are nice upgrades and continue the theme.

This build is impressive and it's clearly evident the seller put forth a great deal of time, money and effort to construct a car as clean as this. If you're in the market for a build of this caliber you ought to pay this guy a visit.
